Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman meets with SoftBank CEO in New York

The Saudi Press Agency on Monday tweeted a photo of a meeting between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son, saying they are “looking for a number of investment opportunities.”

Crown Prince Mohammed, who wore a western-style business suit, arrived in New York for a week of meetings after visiting Boston, Massachusetts.

Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund is one of the primary investors in Softbank’s roughly $100 billion Vision Fund, which is focused on funding technology ventures.

Today, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will attend a highly exclusive business meeting in New York at Gotham Hall, which will feature members of his delegation and reportedly include a pitch to investors on the country’s new planned city, NEOM.
