Photographs of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and some of Saudi Arabia’s top officials visiting some of Saudi Arabia’s most famous mountains in the Northwest region of the country have gone viral on social media.

The crown prince and several senior ministers and officials were enjoying the views from the 2,549 meter peak of Jabal Al-Lawz.

The crown prince and several senior ministers and officials were enjoying the views from the 2,549 meter peak of Jabal Al-Lawz.

The photos showing casually-dressed Saudi ministers and officials were taken last Summer by royal photographer Bandar Al-Jaloud at Jabal Al-Lawz (Almond Mountain) near the Kingdom’s border with Jordan.

As Arab News reports, in some of the images, the group are dressed in casual clothing, including shorts and baseball caps as they toured the mountain — a break from traditional government attire.

In addition to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, included in the group are Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed Al-Qassabi, Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, Minister of State Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahed, and Yasir Al-Rumayyan, chief executive of the Saudi Public Investment Fund.
