Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030 plan to reform the Kingdom’s economy was introduced almost one-year ago on April 26th, 2016. While it may take years or even decades to accurately measure the program’s successes and shortcomings, it is not too early to assess early progress with the critical initiative.
Vision 2030: One Year into Saudi Arabia’s Economic Reforms is the subject of an upcoming discussion with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majed Al-Qassabi to be presented on April 20th, at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) headquarters in Washington, D.C. The Saudi-US Trade Group (SUSTG) is pleased to have coordinated this event with CSIS.
Dr. Al-Qassabi, who also holds a seat on Saudi Arabia’s powerful Council on Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) chaired by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will join Dr. Jon B. Alterman of CSIS to discuss Vision 2030 one year on.
