President Donald Trump spoke for an hour kicking off Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute’s Priority Summit being held in Miami February 19-21, 2025.
In his opening remarks at the 3rd FII Priority conference in Miami, FL, US President Donald Trump thanked Saudi Arabia for hosting talks last week between Washington and Moscow. President Trump described Saudi Arabia as a “special place with special leaders” and that it was “a tremendous honor” to be the first American president to address the FII Institute. He noted that, “in particular, we have to thank [Crown] Prince Mohammed bin Salman for hosting these historic talks that went very, very well.”
He also acknowledged Saudi ambassador to the U.S., Princess Reema bint Bandar Al-Saud who was seated next to billionaire Elon Musk in the audience.

Under the theme “Invest with Purpose” this FII Priority Summit includes over a 1,000 leaders, investors, and innovators to discuss and assess, “the outcomes of strategic investments in innovation and sustainability amidst geopolitical tensions, rising living costs, and challenges in healthcare and employment.”
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) is a founding partner of the FII Institute, along with more than 30 strategic partners worldwide. PIF’s integral role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 transformation efforts is a strong attraction for Summit participants and attendees as well.
