On the heels of last month’s viral photograph of the World’s Tallest Mountain, Mount Everest, which was captured in astounding interactive detail so much so that you can zoom in and out and see the entire mountain, it looks like a similar project was done on top of Dubai’s impressive Burj Khalifa tower, currently the world’s tallest building.
The image allows you to rotate 360° degrees and zoom in on any part of Dubai. It is just too cool not to share.
The vantage point, from the top of the Burj Khalifa, means that the interactive image doesn’t really include the new icon of Dubai – the Burj itself. However, rotating to 0 degrees, you can see the surrounding land as well as the top of the building from that angle.
We’re hoping for this trend in high resolution, interactive photography to extend to Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh or Jeddah.
