Lucid Motors today revealed ‘Gravity’, its first SUV with seating for up to seven people that “reimagines utility — and sport — like never before,” the company said on its website and in a promotional video on YouTube.
Under the launch tagline of “A world of space like nothing before,” the video of the Gravity teases an SUV with a large panorama sun roof from front to back and a priority on comfortable seating.
Lucid Gravity is “defined by dynamic handling with the classic Lucid DNA of luxury, performance, and efficiency. A compliant, sports-tuned air suspension. Storage for any outing. Versatile bi-directional charging capability. And a sanctuary-like interior with the finest appointments. Lucid Gravity will deliver enormous space, go-anywhere range, and an engaging drive that stands apart from anything in its class,” Lucid says.
Included in the Gravity, per Lucid:
- Range beyond anything else on the market — except Lucid Air¹
- More aerodynamic than any SUV the world has ever seen
- Next-generation Glass Cockpit
- Flexible seating options for five, six, or seven adults
- Two- and three-row seating configurations
- Clamshell rear opening offers effortless access and cavernous cargo space
- Extra-large frunk with innovative convenience features
- Optional towing capability
Gravity will land in 2024, with reservations opening in early 2023. Lucid is “currently finalizing the vehicle design and specifications, in parallel with continuing the expansion of its AMP-1 factory in Casa Grande, AZ.”
