Neom’s OXAGON city will see its first hotel opening in 2025, according to a report, as development across the Kingdom’s giga-projects continues forward.
YOTEL, which got its start as an airport-adjacent brand before expanding to city centers, will be located in the giga-site’s OXAGON project, envisioned as the business and logistics hub of Neom.
YOTEL’s 300-key hotel will open in 2025.
According to a report in Hotelier Middle East citing YOTEL’s development team, it costs around US$148,000 per key to build a Yotel. This would mean the OXAGON hotel would cost around US$44 million to build.
A recent video from NEOM on YouTube showed progress in the giga-project. Taken together, and in addition to OXAGON, NEOM will also encompass the seahorse-shaped island Sindalah, a mountain and ski resort called Trojena, and The Line, a futuristic city in the shape of a miles long mirrored line in the desert. Construction on the Line shows bulldozers and excavators full steam ahead with the project.
