Saudi Arabia's daily Coronavirus vaccination rates passed 400,000 as the government continued to emphasize the importance of the jab ahead of a key deadline in which citizens and residents will need to prove they have received the vaccine to take part in many normal daily activities.

Since the start of the global pandemic last year, Saudi Arabia's authorities and leadership have implemented progressive policies to help the Kingdom mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus within its borders.

The Saudi Health Ministry on Monday confirmed the infection of 49 people with MERS as Minister Khalid al-Falih said the Ministry is working at full capacity to contain the current outbreak of the virus.

Mohammed bin Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh was previously a Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers. It is the second replacement of a minister this month in the social services sector.
