In a focus on investment forum in Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman spoke to leading business leaders and government officials at Al-Salam Palace on Wednesday and asked them to encourage “businessmen to invest in the Kingdom where the climate is conducive for business and where everyone gets a fair opportunity” and to “conduct a thorough study to ensure providing more support and encouragement to investment and investors in the Kingdom,” Arab News reports.
King Salman was addressing presidents and members of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce, CEOs and directors of banks, businessmen, senior officials from the Commerce and Labor Ministries as well as those from SAGIA and SAMA at Al-Salam Palace.
“We are concerned with supporting you. You can study with ministers all matters that encourage you to invest in the Kingdom,” the King said.
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif also attended the large, high-level gathering. Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce, Dr. Tawfig al-Rabiah, delivered a report to the King.
