Saudi Arabia launches $666m water projects in Tabuk region
Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of 26 water, environmental and agricultural projects in the Tabuk region of the kingdom at a total cost of more than SR2.5 billion ($667 million). Capsized in Tripoli’s Murky Economic Waters

Saudi Arabia prequalifies companies for 3 PPP water transmission projects
Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), the principal off-taker for water and wastewater projects in Saudi Arabia, has prequalified companies for three public-private partnership (PPP) water transmission projects in the Kingdom. In separate statements dated 19 April 2022, SWPC said it has prequalified companies for Riyadh – Qassim, Jubail – Buraydah and Rayis – Rabigh Independent Water Transmission Pipeline Projects.

Saudi Arabia seeks consultants for water reservoir and pipeline supervision
The ISWR programme consists of the development, financing, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance and transfer of the independent water reservoirs. The ISWR projects will be developed under a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) model by a project company which will have a 100 per cent stake in the firm. Construction of the first reservoir is due to begin in 2023, with the project expected to be commissioned in 2025.

Saudi Aramco receives bids for Ras Tanura water plant
Saudi Aramco, officially the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, has received bids for the project to develop an independent wastewater treatment plant (IWTP) at the Ras Tanura complex, located on the eastern coast of the country, reports Energy & Utilities. According to the news agency, at least two companies submitted bids for the wastewater treatment plant, including Metito and Miahona.
