Richard Attias, the CEO of the FII Institute, said that out of over 6,000 people planning to attend the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh this week, organizers saw only 10-20 cancellations as a result of the war in Israel and Gaza, according to reports, as the major summit will continue ahead with the event as normal.
At times like this, gatherings like FII are needed “to exchange ideas and conduct dialogue about direction in a tumultuous and uncertain world,” Attias said, according to a report in Bloomberg.
“Today, during this period of political and security challenges in Europe and the Middle East, we draw on each other’s strengths to create prosperity through partnership,” Falih said.
