Saudis celebrated yesterday the seventh anniversary of King Salman bin Abdulaziz’s ascension to the throne with social media posts and congratulatory messages, highlighting the King’s widespread popularity among Saudis.
King Salman is the seventh King of Saudi Arabia. His reign has been marked by tremendous advancement, both social and economic. His ascension as the seventh king of Saudi Arabia “has paved the way for a new chapter in the country,” the Saudi-owned Asharq Alawsat said.
King Salman has watched his nation grow significantly since he was first appointed Governor of Riyadh in 1955.
King Salman is also five years into Vision 2030, the social and economic reform drive that has seen transformational changes take root in Saudi Arabia.
